Do you need help with a question that requires time beyond general assistance? Reserve a one-on-one session with a librarian for up to 30 minutes of in-depth uninterrupted help for sessions on the third Thursday of each month from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.

An overview of library collections and services and the Web site
Introduction to the library catalog–how to find a book, a CD or a DVD, place holds, set up and manage your account
Learn about the library’s online databases and resources
Research a topic using the library’s online databases
Downloading eBooks, eAudiobooks, and eMagazines and other content from our free electronic resources
Computer Skills include using a mouse, keyboarding and creating and managing files and folders
Setting up and using an email account
Basic instruction using Word, Excel or PowerPoint or other programs on library computers
Internet basics, browsers, social media
3D Printer hardware and software questions

Note: Staff will not help users with their personal technology hardware or software issues during these sessions .
This service is free. One reservation per month per person. Reservations are required and made at the Switzer Library Adult Reference desk or by calling 770-528-2377.
