Baby Storytime

Switzer Library

March 19 @ 10:15 am - 10:45 am

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 10:15am on Monday, repeating until April 30, 2018

Baby Storytime at the Switzer Library is held on Monday mornings at 10:15. The library opens at 10 and we jump right into baby time with lap songs, rhymes, shakers, scarves, stories and of course bubbles! The story time lasts around 30 minutes with stay-and-play afterwards for bubbles and socializing for kids and caregivers.

Baby Storytime is for infants up to two-years-old.

Remember, story times are a great way to build literacy skills, learn new songs and interact with others. No child is too young to benefit.

Also, there is a parent book club which meets after baby time the last Monday of every month. The parents do their best to read a grown-up book once a month and spend time discussing it with the other caregivers while the librarian interacts with the children using blocks and puppets. Light refreshments are served. Stop by the youth services desk to pick up a copy of the book.
