African-Amercan Heritage Month film series

February is African-American Heritage Month so please join us as we're showing a variety of films to celebrate at the library. On February 4 we will screen Cabin in the Sky. This Broadway musical adaptation is one of the first films featuring an all African-American cast and includes such heavyweights as Ethel Waters, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington and Lena Horne. It was released in 1943 and is 98 minutes long.
