I normally don’t blog about DVDs but because I am interested in bullying, when I saw that the library owned this DVD, I had to watch it. I’m glad I did. It is a documentary of real teens and preteens who have experienced bullying. The DVD tells the stories of the devastating effects bullying has on kids, families, and entire communities. Watching it was like a roller coaster ride. I felt infuriated, heartbroken and horrified, sometimes all at the same time.

I think we all know that bullying is at an all time high. How many times do we see on the news that a teen has taken his own life because he couldn’t stand the bullying anymore? I think this DVD is something everyone should watch. We need to be aware of what is happening in our schools, to our kids. We need to put an end to bullying.
