Julienne Marks, author of the Many Pebbles to Make a Difference book series, will present an Author Talk at the South Cobb Regional Library on Monday, May 8th from 7 pm to 8 pm. She will discuss her books about raising kind and confident children. The event is free and open to the public.
Ms. Marks, a retired youth services librarian and teacher, will cover her ideas and philosophies on how to best improve children’s lives through a variety of ways. She touches upon helpful parenting tips, good educational aids, multiculturalism, peace ideas, and literacy in her series.
In addition to her experience as a youth services librarian and a teacher, Ms. Marks has a background as a museum educator, motivational teacher, youth adviser, and parenting workshop leader. She is a former Youth Services Librarian at the South Cobb library.
She has learned through her own personal experience, through readings, and by important conversations with others how children can be motivated to share their personal gifts with the world.
The Cobb Library Foundation is sponsoring a book signing at the May 8th event with Ms. Marks’ books available for purchase.
