I am Malala: the girl who stood up for education and was shot by the Taliban is now in the Cobb County Public Library System’s Adult Collection. Copies of the book recently became available for CCPLS patrons on the book’s waiting list.

The 16-year-old education activist Malala Yousafzai tells her story of speaking out in Pakistan and being shot in the head by a Taliban fighter one year ago as she was returning home from school on a bus. I am Malala was co-written by British journalist Christina Lamb.
