Cobb County’s population has edged above the 750,000 mark, according to the 2017 population estimates report released Thursday by the Atlanta Regional Commission.
The ARC’s 10-county area population estimate is 4,480,100. The top-five counties are: Fulton at 1,002,800; Gwinnett at 894,000; Cobb at 750,300; DeKalb at 733,900; and Clayton’s 275,300.
Cobb’s average annual growth change in the 2010-17 period is 8,889, the report shows. The 2016 estimate for Cobb is 737,500. The report reflects the changes between April 2016 to April 2017
