BLACK HISTORY MONTH PROGRAMS:

South Cobb Regional - February 3 at 7:00 p.m.
Quotable Art - Participants will discuss notable quotes pertaining to Black History Month and will create art inspired by that quote. Art will be displayed.

South Cobb Regional - February 10 at 7:00 p.m.
Black History Quilt - Participants will brainstorm the names of influential and noteworthy African American leaders and decorate a quilt square inspired by the leader. The quilt will be assembled and displayed in the library.

South Cobb Regional -February 17 at 7:00 p.m.
You’ve Got Mail - Participants will review and discuss stamp art and create their own stamps of Black History Month heroes. Art will be displayed in the library.

South Cobb Regional -February 24 at 7:00 p.m.
Black History Trivia - Teams will compete against each other in a trivia contest. All of the questions will be related to Black History Month.


OF TEEN INTEREST:

KeyTrain is online preparation for taking the Georgia Work Ready test. Access to the training segments and the pre-tests will available at the libraries beginning this winter.
