The Georgia Room has a wealth of resources for individuals looking for information about their family's history, and our knowledgeable library staff members are available to help with your genealogy research. While library staff do not conduct genealogical research for individuals, the Cobb County Public Library System is able to collect materials that help researchers conduct their own genealogical research.

The library has an extensive collection of historical and genealogical materials on Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia, and the surrounding areas and states. This material is primarily in books and on microforms.
